In keeping in line with our vision to create programs that give keys for understanding as well as creating public dialogue, we would like to propose the below additional promotional programs for the film. It would be a great honor to tour with and screen this important film at select global Art/Educational institutions, affording us the opportunity to impart knowledge and honor El Anatsui’s massive contributions to our historical and cultural landscapes. 

DELA: Campus Tour

The proposed campus tour will take place in Ghana, Nigeria and the United States in the first quarter of 2025. It is targeted toward bringing the film closer to institutions such as El Anatsui’s alma mater in Ghana, the top 5 art Universities in Nigeria and Historically Black colleges and art institutions in the United States. These screenings allow for closer engagement with crew and students.

DELA Exhibition

In producing the film, El Anatsui’s diverse taste in music and art became a subject on its own, hence the addition of a multi-media exhibition that will showcase works by some of the participating artistes in the film. These artists brought their interpretation of several key events in the subject’s life, and added vibrance and colour to the story telling. The media include original creations of paintings, drawings, music, animation etc.
