A Celebration of the African Diaspora’s Creativity and Culture - This February, MoCA CT is proud to host its inaugural Black History Month event series, spotlighting the rich heritage, creativity, and contributions of the Black community.
DELA: Campus Tour
The campus tour will take place in Ghana, Nigeria and the United States in 2025. It is targeted toward bringing the film closer to institutions such as El Anatsui’s alma mater in Ghana, the top 5 art Universities in Nigeria and Historically Black colleges and art institutions in the United States. These screenings allow for closer engagement with crew and students. In addition, a multi-media exhibition that showcases works by some of the participating artistes in the film. The media include original creations of paintings, drawings, music, animation etc.
OFFICIAL SELECTION
"Literature in Cinema" in an event that aims to reward film works that are related to literature in some way. They can be adaptations of books or documentaries about literature, or biographies of writers.

Season 18 of the INFLUX Film Awards saw an amazing selection of films and screenplays from all over the world. What an amazing group of features, documentaries, shorts, and screenplays. We are always so honored to view and share the winners and selections!
It was an eventful and beautiful Mother's Day on May 12th, 2024 at the prestigious Lincoln Centre, with guests trooping in with tickets in hand, to see the “in-depth” biographical documentary directed by Oyiza Adaba - "DELA: The Making of El Anatsui".
On November 7, 2023, "DELA: The Making of El Anatsui" screened at the recently concluded Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF).
